Google Cloud Storage for Magento 1.x provides the ability to store media files in a Google Cloud Storage bucket. There are several advantages to using cloud-based storage solutions, including:

1. Integration with CDN (e.g., Google Cloud CDN)
2. Easily create external backups
3. Reduce storage costs

Please Note: Google Cloud Storage for Magento 1.x requires Google Cloud PHP Autoloader to be installed prior to use. Visit the GitHub repository for more details.

Google Cloud Storage for Magento 1.x will synchronize all of the following:

1. WYSIWYG images
2. Captcha images
3. Category images
4. Product images
5. Generated thumbnails
6. Favicon

Disabled by default, there is also the option to synchronize downloadable product files, including:

1. Product link files
2. Product sample files
